Ted thrives on challenging status quo and leveraging IT solutions to optimize business value. His professional career includes successful
experiences across multiple industries. His recent contributions have been in the US Healthcare Industry where he held executive positions
at multiple BlueCross BlueShield Plans, including WellPoint Health Networks and most recently Senior Vice President, CIO of CareFirst,
Inc. He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Starbucks Coffee Company during the late 90’s and led the company
expansion into Europe and Asia. Ted was a Senior Partner with The Feld Group, a leading IT Consulting firm that drove IT strategies
for a myriad of Fortune 100 Companies. He enjoyed numerous years with IBM in leadership positions in operating, marketing, and technical
capacities. He is most noted for his contributions in his re-engineering role as Global CIO, IBM Personal Computer Company during the
turnaround of IBM Corporation.
Ted was recognized twice by CIO Magazine as one of their "Top 100 CIOs", twice by Information Week Magazine as one of their
"500 Top IT Innovators" and awarded "Top Business Innovator–Customer Relationships" by CXO Media, Inc.
Ted holds a distinguished certificate in Strategy and Innovation and an executive degree in Technology, Operations, and Supply Chain
Management, both from MIT Sloan School of Management. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Humanim and has performed in
similar capacities for multiple Software and IT Services companies.
