  System Integration Analyst

Responsibilities include:

The applicant will be responsible for gathering technical and benefits-related requirements and facilitating the integration of Benelogic’s systems’ with external systems.  The applicant must be able to negotiate and establish requirements for a consistent, reliable and maintainable Electronic Data Interface (EDI) connection.  The applicant will be responsible for:

  • Configure and maintain client website security settings
  • Review and assess client's or vendor's environment / requirements for handling data
  • Analyze external systems’ data requirements and identify incongruence between external and Benelogic systems
  • Contact vendors to obtain electronic eligibility information as well as negotiate EDI format and transport mechanisms
  • Provide support for client configuration and file transmission construction
  • Troubleshoot and triage data and file transmission discrepancies
  • Development and maintenance of department’s document resources
  • Creation and maintenance of departmental process documentation, requirements documents and knowledge bases
     
Minimum Qualifications include:
  • 1-5+ years professional experience as a business or functional analyst
  • Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft FrontPage
  • Experience in system/software integration preferred
  • Knowledge of Benefits preferred and recommended
  • Technical/programming knowledge preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to identify and negotiate issues outside of best practices
  • Responsible for advising internal and external parties on system capabilities and limitations
     
Education
  • Bachelors degree required
